Andromeda Galaxy and Milky Way galaxy in which the planet Earth is a giant twoneighboring galaxies. Both are separated only 2.5 million light-years distance, or about18.8 trillion miles.
Previously, the Andromeda galaxy has a size smaller. But along the traveling life, the galaxy is "eat" a small number of of galaxies in the nearby flying due to the largegravitational owned . Eventually the Andromeda is approximately the same size of theMilky Way.
Recently, that galaxy is reportedly close to each other with a speed of approximately120 kilometers / second.
However, the distance between the two galaxies is still too far away. So thesuper-powerful collisions that this will happen about three billion years to come.
It is estimated that there are stars around both galaxies, including the sun's solar systemis unlikely to collide with each other.
